This week went by so dang quick, as if time wasn't going by fast enough..Been so busy with midterms, app essays, assignments and labssss BUT the beautiful weather made it all so bearable. It wouldn't have been a typical sunny day if i didn't get a text from Sofy bout taking photos outside haha :') Took a short break from my midterm prep and spent the next hour chilling and laughing with Sof and Chels.  Decided to keep it simple and stuck with my trusty white longsleeves top, black jeans, and my black caged shoes/heels with my new favourite dark burgundy lipstick. I was quite hesitant to wear these shoes since I ride my bike everywhere in uni but then again my concept of "fashion over comfort" won me over. My foot slipped off the bike pedals a couple times not gonna lie lolol Bottom line is, I had a very positive week over all. No complaints :)

Spending yet another friday night blogging and listening to throwback songs with Izzygrrrr. Having a relaxing night before an entire weekend of hardcore studying!!! Hope everyone's having a great start to their weekend!

Day Trip to Whistler, BC

The birthday girl is 24 today!!!!
quick outfit shot :p

my cute parents :)
Cheesecake + Toffee bits + Butterscotch + White Chocolate stuff ugh

Ombre hair, Camo jackets, Brown boots........seemed to be every Whistler-ian girl's wardrobe for the day (what's new)

Warming her cold knees (form the ripped jeans)

The past weekend, the fam and i drove up to Whistler as requested by the birthday girl to be (Nina, my eldest sista who turns 24 today!!!).  The weather coulda been way better but that didn't stop us from walking around the village, admiring its rustic and cabin-y vibe, not to mention the beautiful people and stopping by the breathtaking lakes. We were going to the Lost Lake, as we always do, but was closed last saturday which was a huuuge bummer. So we went to some nearby lake and took photos there :) I also had my first beaver tail cheesecake this weekend which was a revelation..blows my mind how i've never tasted one of those bad boys before. They were delicious, my gad. We also had a nice family dinner and had a nice, cozy family walk through the beautiful Christmas lights lit streets. Posted some of our outfits of the day too and some cool snapshots i took during the trip!

Can't believe the oldest Granados sister is finally 24. Two granadoses down, 3 more to go! (Last month was my dad's birthmonth) Next up is ze madre's birthday, then mine....then Isobel's! This year, we all turn even-numbered ages....and I cannot wait!!! Now im just in my room killing some time, blogging, before we have dinner at The Eatery in dt tonight. That's always our goto sushi place in downtown, highly recommended! (although it may have felt a teeny bit awkward going to that resto with your parents) If you ever go to The Eatery, you'll know what I mean...til next time!

(I'll add another entry post based solely on our outfits)

New video up on Youtube btw :)

Mercredi | OOTD

Yesterday was my second day back for the new term and I had a pretty darn good day! I don't usually dress for the weather and have a mindset of "fashion over comfort", as my dad likes to say, but being a commuter student made me blend those two together...FINALLY. I decided to keep it minimalistic for yesterday's outfit. I felt sooo comfortable in it with my huge blanket scarf, trusty coat, my big black bag and lots of layers underneath (literally had 4 layers on top + my scarf, and 2 layers on the bottom). Only thing uncomfortable about this outfit was of course the boots, but I had to! I just couldn't pair this outfit with anything else but a classic, black, ankle-ish booty. Walking to my night class was a pain though..it was impossible to find the building.. Took Sofy, my partner in crime, along and snapped some photos with her during our break and of course had a laughing fest with our little photo shoot experiment. The outfit looked cute without the scarf too but Vancouver weather though....what can ya do.

P.S. I'll be posting a new OOTD series on my youtube in a few days so stay tuned!
